Math:
Acquire a solid foundation of mathematical computation of whole numbers.
Develop number sense and concepts, including numeration and estimation, mental math techniques, and the applications of these concepts in everyday situations.
Develop a knowledge of geometric and spatial sense involving measurement (including length, area, and volume), and similarity and transformations of shapes.
Develop a knowledge of data analysis, probability, statistics, and graph theory.
Develop a knowledge of patterns and relationships within and among algebraic and geometric concepts.
Develop a knowledge of mathematical systems (including real numbers, decimals, percentages, ratios, and proportions), geometry, and number theory (including primes, factors and multiples).
Develop the ability to problem-solve, and develop thinking and skills.
Be able to use appropriate tools (rulers, calculators, computers, and math manipulatives) to solve problems.
