St. Mark Catholic School is committed to providing a Catholic Education to each student. If finances are a concern, there are several options to explore.
The Archdiocese of St. Louis offers grants and scholarships to qualifying families. Families have the opportunity to apply for all the scholarships using the unified online application. The Scholarship Office at the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation will review your application and determine your family’s award(s) based on eligibility for the different programs. http://ttef-stl.org/scholarships/
Alive! In Christ
The “Alive! In Christ” Scholarship Program seeks to provide financial assistance to those families (both Catholic and Non-Catholic) who wish to offer their children an education at a Catholic elementary school in the archdiocese. Scholarship awards are based upon the financial need of the applicant and will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Beyond Sunday
The Beyond Sunday Education Fund Scholarship Program provides tuition assistance to middle-income families seeking a Catholic education for their children. Awards are available to students attending most Catholic elementary and high schools in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Beyond Sunday is open to students of all faiths, with preference given to Catholic students. Elementary school awards renew through the eighth grade, and high school awards renew through the twelfth grade. Annual income requalification is required for all awards.
Catholic Family Tuition Assistance
Grants are made on the basis of financial need as determined by the application process. Grants may be used for Catholic children to attend an archdiocesan or parochial elementary school or an archdiocesan or parochial high school.
Parish Employees Endowment Fund
Financial assistance is provided for parish employees’ children to attend an archdiocesan or parochial elementary school or an archdiocesan or parochial high school. Employees must work 1,000 hours or more over the course of the year. Grants are made on the basis of financial need as determined by the application process.
In addition, elementary school tuition is now supported by the Missouri MOST 509 Education Plan. This fund allows you to invest money for your child’s tuition. There is potential for investment growth and specific tax benefits for Missouri residents. Visit their website at missourimost.org to find out how contributing to this fund can benefit you.
