The call to serve God through Holy Orders or Religious Life is a profound and sacred vocation and we support and guide those discerning a life dedicated to Christ, whether as a priest, deacon, brother, sister, or consecrated religious.
The Sacrament of Holy Orders
Holy Orders is the sacrament through which men are ordained as deacons, priests, or bishops, continuing Christ’s mission in the Church. Those called to this vocation dedicate their lives to preaching the Gospel, celebrating the sacraments, and serving God’s people.
Religious Life
Men and women who feel called to consecrated life may join a religious order, embracing vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. Religious life includes:
Monks & Nuns – Living in prayer and service within a monastery or convent.
Brothers & Sisters – Engaged in ministry, education, healthcare, and social justice.
Religious Order Priests – Serving in communities dedicated to specific missions.
