Welcome to the RCIA program, a journey of faith and discovery for adults seeking to enter the Catholic Church. Whether you are new to Christianity, coming from another faith tradition, or renewing your connection to the Church, RCIA provides a path to deepen your relationship with Christ and fully embrace the Catholic faith.
Our Mission
The RCIA program is designed to guide individuals through prayer, study, and community engagement as they prepare for the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. Through meaningful discussions, Scripture study, and spiritual formation, participants grow in their understanding of the Church and its teachings.
Who Can Join?
RCIA is open to:
Those who have never been baptized and wish to become Catholic.
Christians from other traditions who seek full communion with the Catholic Church.
Catholics who were baptized but have not yet received Confirmation or Eucharist.
The Journey of RCIA
RCIA is a process, not just a class, and includes:
Inquiry: An introduction to the faith and its foundations.
Catechumenate: Deeper study and reflection on Scripture and Church teachings.
Purification & Enlightenment: Spiritual preparation for receiving the sacraments, usually during Lent.
Sacraments of Initiation: Reception of Baptism (if needed), Confirmation, and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil.
Mystagogy: Continued formation and integration into parish life.
